The user info says: 'The minimum is one entry per week.'

Does this mean that if we join and don't start posting for the prompts right away, or miss a week (or more), that we'll be kicked out of the community?

Hallo, and no, it doesn't mean that you'll be kicked out of the community. You are encouraged to at least write one per week as an exercise of sorts. However, if you can't keep up, that's fine as well. You can always go back and work on a missed prompt (as long as you label it correctly). ^_^

Do you have to start from the first prompt, or can you just go from where you joined?

You can work on any given prompt so far. Just be sure to label each entry correctly so I can add them to the memories. :)

Can entries be cross-posted to one's journal or to other communities?

Entries must be posted on the community, so it makes things easier for me while putting them in the memories. :)

I understand that, but can they also be cross-posted to one's journal? Or can one post a link on one's journal or another fic community that leads to the [info]dialogue_500 post?

Sorry to be a nuisance about this.

Oh yeah, that's fine. I have no problems with that.

Since I seem to be the only person ever who soesn't know how to do this...

...what, precisly, is an LJ-CUT, and how do I go about creating one?

(Reply to this)(Thread)

IGNORE FIRST POST! This is the right one -_-

An LJ-CUT is used to 'hide' whatever story or images you plan to post on your journal so that it's easier to access and doesn't look too cluttered or unsightly when reading through your friends list.

To use an LJ-CUT you simply type:(WITHOUT the asterix)

<*lj-cut>

Insert your story or image here

<*/lj-cut>

If you want a specific text (e.g 'MY STORY' to show up in the cut line you write it this way:

<*lj-cut text="MY STORY">

And close it up the same way as above.

Hope that helps! ^^

Hi there! I'm the mod of [info]bigbluebox which is a relatively new fanfiction community. I was wondering if you'd be interested in being affliates. I'm looking to link to other sort of challenge communities. :)

Do we have to post one every week? I'm not sure I'll be able to do that...stupid APs. Haha. Anyway, just making sure. I don't want to be ostracized. xD

Questions
[info]netbug009

A few things

1. Why is it called the dialouge "500"? Are we going for 500 stories?

2. Can we get a leave for November for NaNoWriMo?

3. Can we use OCs?

4. So if there's no claiming, can we start as soon as we join the club?

Hallo! ^_^

1. It's called Dialogue 500 because you have to write your story in no more than 500 words.

2. The community is open and you can write for any prompt at any time. Taking a leave is fine.

3. Yes, you can use Original Characters

4. There is no claiming and you can start as soon as you join the club.

Hope that helps! ^_^

This is a very interesting community, and I'll be more than happy to join when I know the answer to this question...

Do you allow collaborations?
